Kishor Kumbhar is a third-year PhD student (since 2022) working under the supervision of Dr. Raghav. His research focuses on exploring plasma waves and instabilities in large-scale magnetic structures, as well as investigating plasma heating mechanisms driven by kinetic-scale waves and instabilities.

He has published six research articles, five of which he co-authored. Additionally, he has successfully qualified national and state-level exams, including GATE Physics (2021–2024) and MH-SET (2020). Alongside his research, he is passionate about teaching and has been actively involved in undergraduate education for the past several years.
